Detailed speed analysis with MCReport.

MCReport is the data anlaysis component of the MetroCount Traffic Executive ("MTE") software.

This video (23M) takes you through a detailed speed analysis with MCReport. It examines the effect of congestion on vehicle flow, then demonstrates techniques to remove congestion from your analyses, to obtain statistics, such as 85th percentiles, which may more accurately reflect free-flowing traffic conditions. Further Advanced Profile features are introduced, such as the time "Mask", to isolate and focus on the times of day and days of week for detailed analysis.

Please note that the reports portrayed in this video are using non-metric units (eg miles per hour), but can easily be displayed in metric units. ALL MetroCount classifier data files contain only the original time stamped axle events which are post-processed with MCReport. Therefore, you can display ANY report with either metric or non-metric units (click here for further details).
