The MetroCount 5600 Series Vehicle Classifier System provides many useful features for police, traffic and transport regulators and law enforcement officials.

Installed by the road in just minutes, the MetroCount 5600 is an invaluable, high tech component of your arsenal in the fight against the road toll.

Using two pneumatic axle sensors, the MetroCount 5600 Roadside Unit (RSU) detects and stores the precise timing of every axle for every vehicle.  Once operating, you leave your MetroCount RSU at the survey location gathering data typically for one or two weeks.

After the survey, you unload the RSU, move it to the next location if required, and return to base later with your data.

Windows Software Included!
The MetroCount 5600 System includes, at no additional charge, our world-leading “Traffic Executive” windows software.

Back at base, you (or other office personnel) process the resulting “time-stamped” axle data with Traffic Executive.  Installed on a standard desktop computer,  Traffic Executive gives you easy access to a wealth of traffic information, all in just a few clicks of the mouse button.

Traffic Executive’s “MCReport” module processes your traffic data to precisely calculate time, speed, type (car, bus, truck, etc), gap, headway, and more, for every vehicle that passed your survey location. 
You access this information by choosing from a huge variety of reports, from individual vehicles to advanced traffic statistics and high quality graphs and charts.

Over 50 Report styles are available, and with report Profile options to choose speed ranges, time of day, vehicle types, headway ranges, and more, your reporting and analysis options are almost limitless.
