Swedish National Road Administration (Vagverket Trafikdata)
Contract AL 80 B 2002:816

A quotation for the supply of MetroCount equipment to the Swedish National Road Administration (Vagverket Trafikdata) has been accepted under the recent EU Tender Contract AL 80 B 2002:816 for up to 1200 items of "Traffic Analysis Equipment". We are extremely pleased to have the MetroCount Model 5600 selected for supply, and look forward to an on-going relationship with the SNRA.

Turkish General Directorate of Highways - Contract 02-812-1
--Dec 2002

MetroCount has been awarded the contract to supply over 700 items to the Turkish General Directorate of Highways for "Portable Automatic Traffic Counting and Classifying Equipment". We are very pleased to be developing solutions for Turkey for their traffic monitoring requirements.

New York State Department of Transport BA-081
--updated June 2001

MetroCount is very pleased to announce that we have won the New York State Department of Transport Bid BA-081, for the supply of 400 Two Tube Traffic Recorders.

The MetroCount 5600 has been selected ahead of seven other manufacturers after passing the extremely stringent environmental and accuracy tests performed by NYSDOT.

The success of this contract, and other recent large US purchases, confirms the emerging presence of the MetroCount Vehicle Classifier System in the North American market.

This advanced new model is suitable for piezo, pneumatic air hose and other vehicle sensors, in either portable, or permanent installations. The 5700 also supports analog voltage readings and has ESD protection to 8kV, and will support future telemetry options.

Release in Europe of MetroCount's latest Traffic Executive Ver 2.25 with user defined class schemes, XML output, XP support and more, including MCSetLite Ver 2.25 Roadside Unit operating software for Windows CE. Demonstrated the fully surface mount technology (SMT) MetroCount 5600 Roadside Unit, designed for ultimate reliability.


ITE 2001 70th Annual Meeting and Exhibit
--August 2001

US release of MetroCount Traffic Executive Ver 2.22 with software improvements including the New York State DOT sub-system module, PRN format support, extended class schemes and improved scripting language. Also released the latest MCSetLite Roadside Unit CE operating software demonstrated on wider ranges of Pocket PCs.
